EKITI SPEAKER PROMISES MAXIMUM SUPPORT TO SURVEYORS, HARPS ON PROFESSIONALISM The Speaker of the Ekiti State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Adeoye Aribasoye has affirmed that the House will accord the needed partnership to surveyors working in the State. Aribasoye stated this on Wednesday at the 2nd Quarter 2024 General Assembly By Delegates of the Association of Private Practising Surveyors of Nigeria, APPSN held in Ado the Ekiti State capital. The event has as its theme, 'Understanding the Procurement Process and Practice'. The Speaker who was represented by the Chairman of the House Committee on Investment , Trade and Industries, Hon. Temitope Longe noted that the 7th Ekiti Assembly has been patriotically committed to supporting drivers of the private sector in the interest of the economy. Aribasoye underlined the utmost interest of the Ekiti legislature in responsible lawmaking and relevant resolutions to accommodate the interest of the private sector and the citizenry in general. He applauded the APPSN for its drive towards partnering the Assembly so as to accelerate development in Ekiti State urging them to remain professional in their work. On his part, the National Chairman of APPSN, Surv. Thomas Dabiri solicited government patronage for their members in Ekiti State and relevant legislative support where necessary. The APPSN seized the opportunity to present the Speaker with a plaque of honour in recognition of his productive and inventive leadership coupled with the good performance of the 7th Assembly under his coordination.
