EKITI SPEAKER SALUTES COLLEAGUES FOR OUTSTANDING YEAR OF LEGISLATIVE WORKS. The Ekiti State house of assembly speaker, Rt. Hon. Adeoye Aribasoye says all members of the 7th Ekiti Assembly have been exceptional in delivery of their mandate. In a letter he personally penned down and forwarded to his fellow lawmakers, Aribasoye underlined how their spirit of patriotism and service coupled with their constituency activities have recorded positive impacts across the state in one year. "Your intelligent and cerebral contributions to debates, your passionate motions for peace and tranquility in Ekiti, your altruism, and unwavering commitment to our constituents have not gone unnoticed. The unique way in which you engage with your constituencies, bringing relief and support to our people, is truly commendable." The speaker noted. As stated in the letter, the Speaker admitted that the successes recorded by the 7th assembly within a space of one year could not have been realisable without the maximum support he enjoyed from the entire lawmakers. "I am filled with profound gratitude for the unwavering support, camaraderie, unity of purpose, and dedication that you have all demonstrated. Your focus and commitment to the betterment of our dear state, under my leadership and that of Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, have been nothing short of exemplary". Rt. Hon. Aribasoye linked the noticeable effective governance and peace the state enjoys to the firm resolve of the 7th assembly lawmakers to ensure the state government has the right atmosphere to deliver the benefits of democracy to the Ekiti populace. "The solid support and confidence that you have placed in my leadership are deeply appreciated. The unity and team spirit that exist among us, extending to our spouses who have united behind us, have been instrumental in our collective success. Our resolve to ensure the success of Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji's administration and our harmonious working relationship with other arms of government have set a standard for effective governance". He acknowledged. According to the Speaker, "In this first year of our four-year tenure, we have redefined legislation, introduced novel initiatives and brought about transformation in Ekiti State.
